Prior to that, he was the CRO for Nomura Securities Co. in Tokyo from 2014 and 2016. Before these roles, Mr. Kato managed a diverse array of sales and trading activities for Global Markets across both Japan and the Americas. Before joining Nomura in 2002, Mr. Kato spent 10 years at the Bank of Japan, where his final role was a chief trader for the Open Market Operations desk.
