Tom Ivell is Head of Group Functions and Operational Risk at Swiss Re. Tom has worked in risk management for financial services for 25 years, with a particular focus on non-financial risk, regulatory and financial crime compliance. Previous roles included Partner at consulting firm Oliver Wyman, Skilled Person appointments in the UK, lecturing for the Certified Risk Manager course as well as the European Supervisory Education program. Tom authored the ORX reference risk taxonomy alongside other publications on risk and resilience.
