Valérie Villafranca joined Société Générale in 2018. She was previously head of the Boston Consulting Group risk management practice for the WESA region (Western Europe, South America and Africa).

Valérie has been serving numerous global banks on risk and compliance topics over the past 30 years. She has a broad experience of regulations, governance, policies, measurement, methodologies, organizations and infrastructure. She has worked over the years on different risk types ranging from market, credit, ALM & liquidity, operational risk, model risk, AML/FT, ABC and ESG transformation.
