Xiaomin is the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for the Global Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business at Standard Chartered Group, and his role has recently expanded separately to cover Standard Chartered Group’s Greater China and North Asia (GCNA) region. Xiaomin joined Standard Chartered in 2017 and he has previously held senior roles in the bank, such as the CRO for Standard Chartered Hong Kong and Regional Chief Credit Officer for the Retail Bank in GCNA region.
Before joining Standard Chartered, Xiaomin spent 15 years at HSBC and held senior business and risk management roles across various markets including the US, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Xiaomin holds an MA from The University of Chicago and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
