Mohamed Khalil joined Alstom in February 2014. Recently, he was appointed Managing Director of Saudi Arabia.

In 2014, Mohamed joined Alstom on the Riyadh Metro Project and held three positions from 2014 to 2018, namely Operations Manager in 2014, Commercial Director in 2015 and Project Director in 2017. From 2018 to 2021, Mohamed held the position of Managing Director of Egypt.

Before joining Alstom, Mohamed was Director of Contracts at Saudi Oger. Mohamed worked for Kiewit Construction from 2006 to 2011, holding various positions in multiple cities throughout the United States, including the Brayton Point Power Plant in Somerset, Massachusetts.

While working for the Arabian Construction & Development Company in Riyadh, between 2000 and 2006, Mohamed was responsible for managing several projects, including the MEP works for the Al Marai dairy farm expansion. He also managed turnkey projects for the Kingdom Tower and Four Seasons Hotel, as well as the Saudi Arabian Air Force Headquarters.

Mohamed Khalil began his career in 1996, working with Vanir Construction Management as a field coordinator in San Luis Obispo, California. This career led him to a wide range of projects; institutional and commercial, specialized industrial as well as infrastructure and heavy construction.

Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in the United States.
