David deVries

David deVries is a partner at the Antec Appraisal Group and leads the Waterloo Antec team. He received his AACI, P.App. designations in 2007. David started his appraisal career in 2002 at local firm in Hamilton and in 2012 joined the Antec Appraisal Group and its partners and started the Waterloo Office. Through his career David has worked in all aspects of the appraisal field completing appraisals and consulting assignments that included purchases and (re)finances, public acquisitions / dispositions including expropriation, and for legal / accounting purposes. He has also appeared as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly LPAT) and assisted the court in other matters. David contributes to the next generation through guest lectures in the Real Estate Program at the University of Guelph as well as in the Business Program at Redeemer University.
