Alexandros Matthiessen is Chief Financial Officer at Rubio Impact Ventures, a Netherlands-based impact venture capital fund with €250 million in assets under management that backs entrepreneurs tackling challenges in energy, food, agriculture, and health. At Rubio, he leads finance, impact strategy, and reporting, ensuring portfolio companies have the financial foundations to scale while holding impact measurement to the same rigor as traditional financial returns.

Before joining Rubio in 2023, Alexandros spent over a decade in finance at EY and HSBC, most recently as Senior Manager in EY's CFO Consulting practice, where he also co-founded and led EY Finance Navigator globally. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh, is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and serves on the board of the Institute of Management Accountants' Amsterdam chapter.
