Ben is Partner and CFO, leading Finance operations, and is a member of Hg's Senior Leadership Team, as well as Deputy Chair of Hg’s Realisation Committee.

Ben joined Hg in 2023, initially focusing on managing exits within the Hg portfolio, with a particular focus on the Saturn fund, as well as managing the HgCapital Trust.

Prior to joining Hg, Ben spent almost 15 years in corporate finance at Deloitte, UBS and most recently Goldman Sachs, where he was Co-Head of the UK Mid-Cap Investment Banking team. His deep transactional expertise and broad knowledge of the Hg portfolio make him well placed to lead Hg's operational functions as the firm continues to grow.
