Jason is Head of Technology at Hg, a leading investor in European and Transatlantic technology and services businesses. Hg has $110bn of assets under management and a portfolio of around 60 companies. Jason spent eight years building Hg's portfolio-wide technology capability, leading CTO, CPO, CIO and CISO-level transformations across dozens of companies, from cybersecurity assessment frameworks to structured product leadership development.For the past 18 months Jason has been integral to the technology and operations dimension of Hg's internal AI transformation, working alongside Hg's Head of AI, scaling generative AI adoption across the firm, modernising its technology landscape and reshaping how the business operates. Six months ago this focus was formalised into his current role as Head of Technology.With 35 years of technology leadership spanning Financial Services, Retail, Enterprise Software and Cyber Security, including multiple C-level roles inside PE-owned software companies, Jason brings a rare combination of hands-on technical depth and private equity commercial instinct to the stage.At this session, Jason will bring the operator's view of where change is actually landing, how AI adoption plays out once it moves past the pilot stage and into the daily operations of a portfolio and the firm running it.
