Simarjit (Simar) Singh Sra is Director of Operations and Strategy at Nordic Capital, based in Luxembourg, where he leads initiatives across fund operations, technology strategy, and business transformation. He joined the firm in September 2025 and brings more than two decades of experience spanning programming, consulting, and investing across private equity, infrastructure, and financial services.

Prior to Nordic Capital, Simar was Director of Private Equity Advisory at PwC Luxembourg, advising leading private equity firms on operational and strategic matters. Before that, he served as Director at DEG, where he focused on private equity and infrastructure investments across emerging markets. He began his career in software engineering with global technology firms, including Oracle, before transitioning into finance and investing.

Simar holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai and an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.
