Profile
Adam Hanover is Co-Founder and CEO of Union Main Group, a Memphis, Tennessee-based owner and operator of businesses focused on essential home services, health care, and water/energy efficiency that collectively employ nearly 1,700 people across the United States.
Adam backs, builds, and scales strong, profitable companies — giving Union Main the flexibility to hold its investments for the long-term. Adam's investment style is hands-on and relies on long-term incentive plans designed to create generational wealth for founders and management teams alongside Union Main.
A fourth generation native of Memphis, Adam attended local public school before graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. Early in his career he was an analyst at Lazard Freres & Co. and spent five years at The Carlyle Group. He went on to found and successfully sell Archer Systems, the nation’s largest third-party administrator for Mass Tort and Class Action Claims.
Adam returned to his hometown, founded Union Main, and is actively engaging in the community, where he and his wife, Isabel, are committed to advancing the city of Memphis economically and culturally as a healthy, secure, and vibrant place to raise families and build lives.
Adam serves on the boards of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, St. Albans School of Public Service, and Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania.
