Mr. McGuire joined 57 Stars in 2008 and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He participates in the sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of fund investments and co‐investments across all of the firm’s markets and represents the firm and its investors on multiple fund and co-investment advisory boards.

Prior to 57 Stars, Mr. McGuire served at Overseas Private Investment Corporation (“OPIC,” now known as US Development Finance Corporation) as a Director in the Investment Funds Department. Prior to his time at OPIC, Mr. McGuire executed and managed venture capital and private equity transactions in Asia, while living in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Sydney from 1992 to 2003.

Mr. McGuire earned his BA in History and BS in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from the Cass Business School in London, England.
