Franco Hauri is Head of Energy Transition in Aquila Capital, a pan-European asset manager with 13B AUM focused on sustainable real assets. In this role he successfully originated and financed a broad range of energy transition projects across Europe through equity and debt-like instruments. Previously, he spent seven years working as venture partner for EES in Milan, acquired in 2022 by Ameresco, a leading cleantech integrator and renewable energy asset developer, owner and operator, listed on the NYSE. Before that he spent five years as an Investment Director in Climate Change Capital, an asset management and advisory group founded in 2003 to support efforts to develop solutions to climate change, where he was responsible for the investment activities in Southern Europe. He started his career at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant, advising PE-owned companies on strategic and operational matters. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
