Freddy is a Director at Longbow Capital, a private equity firm investing in ambitious companies that bring energy to the world in the most efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner. Longbow is currently investing out of its Energy Transition fund, targeting businesses that will benefit from the tailwinds of the energy transition.
Prior to Longbow, Freddy was a Senior Investment Professional at IceLake Capital in Amsterdam, a European mid-market private equity firm. He was the second employee to join the firm and played a key role in scaling the platform to over €1.0 billion of capital raised. He led platform and add-on investments across international markets and was responsible for the full investment lifecycle.
Prior to private equity, Freddy worked in Investment Banking at Nomura in Amsterdam and London, and prior to that was part of a global accelerated development program at Ensco, an international offshore drilling contractor, based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Freddy holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, a BBA from Mount Royal University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
