Ken is global head of Sustainable Investing within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, which is responsible for the firm's private equity impact investing efforts. He is co-chair of the Sustainability Council and a member of the Steering Group of the firm's Sustainable Finance Group. Ken first joined the firm in 1992 as an analyst in the Energy & Power Group in the Investment Banking Division. After two years, Ken transferred to the Debt Capital Markets Group in the Fixed Income Division. He left the firm to attend business school in 1995, returned to the Energy & Power Group in 1997 and transferred to Principal Investment Area in 1999. Ken was named managing director in 2004 and partner in 2006. He left the firm in 2017 and founded Mission Driven Capital Partners, a sustainability focused private equity effort. Ken rejoined the firm as a partner in 2020. Ken serves as a director on the Impact Nano LLC board. Ken earned a BA from Syracuse University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
