Laura is an investor with Hambro Perks, a venture capital technology firm, where she leads climate tech and sustainability investments in early-stage companies. The fund from which she invests focuses on impactful, asset light solutions to the challenges posted by climate change. Before Hambro Perks, Laura spent 5 years at Bridges Fund Management, an impact investment private equity fund, where she invested in SMEs that targeted positive social and environmental outcomes. She started her career in equities sales and investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and London. Laura is a committee member of ImpactVC and was part of the UK’s National Advisory Board on Impact Investing. She has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics from Brown University in the USA.
