Rahul established SER Capital Partners in 2018 and is responsible for overall firm strategy, investments, and team culture. Rahul has a 20-year successful track record in acquiring, building, and financing power, renewable, and environmental businesses.

Prior to departing in 2018, Rahul was at Energy Capital Partners (ECP) where he joined at its founding in 2005 and maintained a dedicated focus on renewable and environmental sectors.

Prior to ECP, Rahul worked at Orion Power Holdings (a Goldman Sachs portfolio company) from its early days of formation, through its IPO and sale; at Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division; and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Rahul is also a founder, former Board Chair, and current Executive Committee Member of StreetWise Partners, a mentoring non-profit for facing low-income individuals with barriers to career opportunities. Rahul is also an active member of YPO.

Rahul graduated from Colgate University, where he competed for its men’s swim team, and also earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
