Taichi is a Managing Director on the Pan-Alts team in Asia and has over 26 years of industry experience. He is responsible for alternative investment programs in Asia and focuses on portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations and regular portfolio updates across alternative investment programs.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2025, Taichi was the Global Head of Alternative Investments at Norinchukin Bank where he led alternative investments by the organizations’ balance sheet. Before that, he oversaw fund of funds business for external clients at Norinchukin Trust and Banking as the Head of Investment Management.

Taichi graduated from The University of Tokyo with a BS in Agricultural and Resource Economics. He is a CFA charterholder.
