Profile
Geri Kirilova is a General Partner at Laconia, a NYC-based venture capital firm backing serious founders building must-have technology for mission-critical industries. Founded in 2015, Laconia is currently deploying its third boutique fund with a uniquely transparent, collaborative, and community-driven partnership model. Select portfolio companies include PromoteIQ (acq., Microsoft), Ocrolus, Bluefish, and Yuvo Health. Geri was recognized for her venture capital industry leadership on the Forbes 30 Under 30: Venture Capital list and holds a degree from NYU Stern (Summa Cum Laude).
A lifelong New Yorker born in Bulgaria, Geri began her venture capital career in Europe at Credo Ventures in Prague and LAUNCHub Ventures in Sofia. Now splitting her time mostly between NYC and Zurich, she is leveraging her experience to support founders solving global problems. Outside work, you can find Geri exploring new hiking trails, searching for the best coffee spots, and (finally getting around to) learning how to ski.
