Akam Salih is a Senior Scientist in Radiopharmacology at Mariana Oncology, where he leads the preclinical radiochemistry team focused on the discovery and development of precision radiopharmaceuticals for cancer therapy. He earned his Master’s degree in Cancer Chemistry from the University of Leicester, England, and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and Radiochemistry from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where his research centered on the design and synthesis of novel chelators for radiometal-based imaging and therapeutic agents.
