Asaf Cohen is Senior Vice President of CMC and Operations at SpliSense, a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing an inhaled ASO therapeutic platform for the treatment of pulmonary diseases. In his role, he leads CMC strategy and operational execution, enabling the translation of SpliSense’s RNA-based platform into scalable, GMP-compliant drug products and supporting the advancement of multiple clinical programs through Phase 2.
Asaf holds hands-on experience across pharmaceutical development, including GMP manufacturing, analytical and device development, IND-enabling activities, and clinical supply readiness. He focuses on practical, risk-aware development strategies and close alignment between CMC, clinical, and regulatory teams to efficiently move innovative pulmonary therapeutics from early development into the clinic.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Pharmaceutical Engineering and MBA with a specialization in Biomedical Management.
