Passionate about the transformative therapeutic potential of oligonucleotides, Austin has spent his entire career in the oligo field. After graduating from the University of Michigan with master’s degree in organic chemistry, he spent several years as a bench scientist at Editas Medicine and Novo Nordisk developing novel production strategies for therapeutic gRNA and siRNA oligos. He became an oligo product specialist at Cytiva in 2024 where he now leverages his academic and industry experience to provide biotech, pharma, and academic institutions with high-quality equipment and expertise for oligonucleotide production.
