Cory Hinz is a Professional Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He began his career at Asahi Kasei Technikrom in 2009, gaining expertise in automated bioprocess equipment. Since 2010, Cory has focused on designing and maintaining automated systems for purification, filtration, and buffer formulation at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America (AKBA). In 2015, he became team supervisor, later expanding the engineering team into specialized roles. In 2022, he joined AKBA’s oligosynthesis task force, where he continues to drive product improvement and innovation
