Joanna Hemming Taylor graduated with a MChem in Chemistry from the University of Manchester in 2009, followed by a PhD in biophysical and computational chemistry from University College London with an emphasis on characterisation of lipids and peptides at the air-liquid interface. In 2014 Joanna joined AstraZeneca and has worked as an analytical project lead on multiple early phase clinical projects, from small molecule therapeutics to larger synthetics such as peptides and drug-dendrimer conjugates. More recently, Joanna has been responsible for leading the analytical development and control strategy of siRNA projects within Early Chemical Development.
