Mangala Soundar, PhD, leads the pre-clinical team at Judo Bio.

Prior to Judo Bio, Mangala served as Senior/Executive Director of Discovery and Preclinical Programs at PepGen, where she helped define the discovery vision, established an oligonucleotide pipeline, and led multiple neuromuscular programs. She previously headed Neuroscience at Faze Medicines, directing research strategy for a first-in-class small molecule program in ALS. Prior to that, at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, she was preclinical lead for more than 20+ siRNA targets in the liver and CNS, helped establish the siRNA therapeutics pipeline, and contributed to programs now in the clinic including APP, HTT, and ANGPTL3.
