Dr. Mark Tolentino obtained his bachelors degree in Chemistry from University of Philippines in 2014. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut in 2021 under the mentorship of Prof. Jessica L. Rouge. His graduate work focused on the development of stimuli-responsive nanoparticles by combining soft and inorganic materials for oligonucleotide and protein delivery applications. His current role at Alnylam involves developing new bio conjugation reactions for delivery of synthetic oligonucleotides for extra-hepatic delivery.
