Neha is an Associate Director within the Formulations and Delivery team at Sanofi's mRNA Center of Excellence (CoE). Prior to joining the CoE, she was part of the Translate Bio Team where she spearheaded the development of aerosolized mRNA-Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) platform for protein replacement therapies targeting pulmonary diseases like Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary Ciliary Dyskinesia and more. Leveraging this core expertise at the mRNA CoE, she has driven the design and development of a novel intranasal mRNA LNP platform aimed at achieving critical mucosal immunity. Her focused scientific contributions center on the strategic design of new helper lipids to significantly improve the efficacy and thermostability of mRNA-LNP formulations across various applications, alongside leading efforts to develop targeted tissue-specific delivery strategies. She is a co-inventor on multiple issued patents and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
