Rob is Head of Bioprocess at Constructive Bio, where he leads the development and scale-up of novel microbial strains for the production of peptides and proteins containing non-canonical amino acids and their subsequent downstream processing.

Rob has extensive experience across the full bioprocess development workflow, gained through roles at multiple biotechnology companies in the UK. Most recently, he led the scale-up and manufacture of Johnson Matthey’s enzyme portfolio, delivering processes from development through to production. He holds a PhD in microbial physiology and protein biochemistry from the University of Sheffield.
