Profile
Sabine completed a PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Göttingen Germany in 2012, followed by a postdoctoral stay at the University of Cambridge UK focusing on the total synthesis of a peptide-derived antibiotic. From 2014-2025 she worked as a Process Chemist and Scientific leader at GSK UK, developing small molecule and oligonucleotide drug candidates. In July 2025 Sabine joined Bachem as a director Oligo R&D where she is now concentrating on the process development of therapeutic oligonucleotides throughout clinical phases as well as the adoption of innovative technologies for a streamlined commercial API supply.
