Stefan Hyde is a software engineering leader with 15 years of experience in advanced bioprocessing technologies. He holds an MS in Mechatronics from Northwestern University and has spent his career at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess (AKB) contributing to automation and system design across purification, filtration, buffer formulation and oligosynthesis. Stefan currently leads AKB’s Automation group and played a central role in the development of the OCELOT® System Control platform – establishing a modern, modular automation architecture that supports an expanding equipment portfolio. He is also a member of AKB’s oligosynthesis task force, contributing to strategic and technical initiatives in this key growth area.
