Industry Technical Specialist, Bioenergy & Distilling at Novozymes


Muriel is a Technical Specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in the distilling and bioethanol industries. She has a master’s degree in food science focusing on biotechnology, microbiology, and food processing. Muriel works in Technical Service, providing hands on support to bioethanol plants in Europe and supporting their processing challenges. She has special expertise in the prevention of bacterial contamination in fermentation. Previously, Muriel worked as laboratory manager at The Absolut Company in Sweden and as Technical Sales Manager for Lallemand. Her private interests include cooking, photography, and Capoiera.
