Graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK and started his career with Rolls Royce. He then delved into various start-ups and created from scratch a quick lime manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi, but over the course of constructing and running the factory he realized that he wanted to shift the focus towards a fundamental need of people - Food. This shift was accelerated during COVID as the supply chain was stressed and food security became a major problem for countries like UAE who import a majority of the food. The path was clear that his knowledge and experience from various fields and several countries had to be combined to move towards more sustainable forms of farming. He believes that solving the problem of growing food in one of the harshest conditions that are in the UAE, would result in technologies and solutions that would help people grow food all over the world.

This led to the formation of Mahameru Innovations - House of Professionals and Entrepreneurs where the members from diverse fields would converge to solve the core problems relating to our food chain.
