Profile
Dr. Amanda Gross, Associate Director, Immunology, leads both client and internal R&D research projects and contributes to scientific development of the SeromYx Systems Serology platform for clinical research and drug discovery in infectious disease and immuno-oncology. Prior to joining SeromYx, Amanda was a Senior Scientist at GSK, where she supported target validation for a regulatory T cell receptor agonist intended for the treatment of autoimmune disease, contributing to critical go/no go decision making by establishing robust Treg suppression assays to correlate functional efficacy with target engagement. Amanda received her PhD in Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics from Tufts University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where she discovered the inhibitory effect of glycosaminoglycans on the IL-33-stimulated secretion of TNF and IL-8 from human mast cells and delineated their mechanism of action. Prior to that, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology from the University of Florida.
