Erika Joloya is a PhD candidate in Dr. Lisa Wagar’s lab at the University of California, Irvine, where the lab studies human adaptive immune responses in efforts to improve and accelerate vaccine design and immunotherapies. Her research interests in the Wagar lab include differential host responses to vaccines and respiratory viruses, with a focus on how early life exposures to influenza antigens shape the immune repertoire over time.
