M. Jack Borrok, PhD

Jack Borrok joined Amgen in 2023 and currently leads a group of protein engineers and scientists focused developing biotherapeutics for rare and autoimmune diseases. Prior to Amgen, Jack worked at several biotech/biopharma companies including Medimmune/AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Horizon Therapeutics. Jack received his PhD in biochemistry in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received post-doctoral training at The University of Texas at Austin. He is an inventor on several patents and an author of over two dozen publications in the field of Fc engineering & therapeutic antibody development.
