Vaishali KapoorAssistant Professor, Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of MedicineSpeaker
Profile
Dr. Vaishali Kapoor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She received her PhD in Cancer Biology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi, India) and completed her postdoctoral training at Washington University. Dr. Kapoor’s research focuses on developing novel therapeutic strategies that target radiation-inducible neoantigens. Her laboratory integrates drug discovery, antibody engineering, and targeted radiation therapy to design tumor-selective radiosensitizers and enhance the efficacy of radiation treatment. She has a particular interest in developing and optimizing antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and radioimmunoconjugates for precise cancer targeting. Additionally, her work aims to elucidate the mechanisms of resistance to standard-of-care therapies, informing more effective combination strategies.
