William (Beau) Carson IV, is the Head of Translational Medicine at Alloy Therapeutics, where he leads in vitro and in vivo functional screening capabilities to support biologics drug discovery. Prior to joining Alloy Therapeutics, Beau led translational teams at Compass Therapeutics and the Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine, investigating antibody and cell-based therapies for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disease. Prior to his work in industry, Beau was a faculty member in the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan Medical School. He has a PhD in Immunology from the University of Connecticut Health Center.
