Caroline Austin is VP Business Development at AstraZeneca with a global track record of negotiation and execution of transactions across multiple disease areas. Caroline also leads Business Development for Precision Medicine & Genomics to deliver partnerships that reinforce AstraZeneca’s precision medicine strategy. She is passionate about working with partners to access cutting edge technology and capabilities that best achieve mutual goals. With a background in Pharmacology, Caroline originally joined AstraZeneca in R&D, and has since held various business development roles, from leading early to late-stage transactions, as well as on-market licensing and partnering, M&A and divestments.
