Ingrid Kelly is a Partner and member of the investment team at xista science ventures, a VC fund that invests in early stage deeptech and life science academic spinoffs in Austria, DACH and beyond.

Following completion of a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Cambridge, Ingrid qualified as a European Patent Attorney and worked for several years in the pharma industry. Since 2012 she has been actively involved in technology transfer, initially at the University of Vienna and subsequently at IST Austria; in this role she supports researchers in the life sciences, identifying promising innovations and guiding them through to out-licensing and spin-off creation.
