Dr. Kristina Levan, director Sahlgrenska ATMP center, is a core team member of the national system transformation project “ATMP2030”, an initiative that aims to revolutionize the systems required for the successful development and implementation of advanced therapy products. Within ATMP2030, she focuses on strategic issues that aim to enhance the readiness level within the Swedish healthcare system for the introduction of ATMPs, recognizing the central role of healthcare in the innovation process. With emphasis on the critical importance of securing the competence and capability to actively participate in clinical trials and to provide patients with access to groundbreaking therapies. Dr. Levan was recently elected as chair person for the national collaboration initiative gathering the universities, hospitals and the industry together in a joint effort to reach the vision of Sweden being world leading in ATMP by 2030.
