Dr. Jiao Peng has over 25 years of research and industrialization experience in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and industrial biotechnology. He specializes in the research, development, and industrialization of next-generation bioprocesses and key technologies and core equipment (bioreactors) for bio-manufacturing. He possesses extensive experience and a deep knowledge background in areas such as mammalian cell culture and microbial fermentation process development, technology transfer and industrial scale-up (and scale-down), bioreactors, large-scale industrial production, design and construction of new factories, technical verification and transfer, bioprocess characterization, and project management.

Before founding BiBo Biopharma, Dr. Jiao Peng taught at Tsinghua University, conducted postdoctoral research at the BPEC at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, and later worked at companies such as Bio-Rad, Novartis, and Lonza in the United States. He has led the research and production of dozens of biopharmaceutical projects, including major national scientific research projects, successfully achieving the industrialization and commercial production of more than ten products (including small molecules and protein drugs).
