Emma Pollard is a Journey Level Scaffolder and is the Project Director for The Office to Advance Women Apprentices. Born and raised in Fort McMurray, AB, Emma comes from a family deeply rooted in the trades, including her mother, who began her career in the construction industry in the 1980s. Emma's extensive experience on the tools and in various leadership roles within the field led her to work directly with her Union, ultimately paving the way to her current position. Emma strives to help others get started in a career that can support themselves and their families. “There is a place for everyone to succeed, and I want to be the change I wish to see in the world.” |
