Melissa is a mother of three and a Cold Lake First Nations aboriginal woman of the Denesųłiné Nation. She started her trades journey in 2002 and attended the 4th Journeywoman Start program by Women Building Futures 22 years ago. Over the years, Melissa has overcome diversity challenges in the field and has worked hard to build a respected professional reputation at the job site. With many ups and downs in her career, Melissa has built a strong support network who have helped her persevere when situations felt stacked against her. As a firm believer that women can do anything, she is passionate about promoting and supporting more women in the trades. |
