Exhibitor Insurance
Show Policies and Standards state that every exhibitor is responsible for ensuring they have a minimum of $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability insurance per occurrence. It is recommended you have a copy of your Certificate of Insurance onsite, should you be asked to show proof.
Neither Show Management nor the Vancouver Convention Centre is responsible for injury to persons, loss of, or damage to products, exhibits, equipment or decorations, by fire, accident, theft, or any other causes while in the building.
Certificate of Insurance Requirements
Event Name: BUILDEX Vancouver
Dates: February 8-11, 2027 inclusive
Commercial Liability insurance will have a coverage limit of $5,000,000 per occurrence and property insurance with a limit of $25,000 with a $1,000 deductible
The following must be listed as additional insured:
- Informa Canada Inc. (20 Eglinton Ave. W., Suite 1200, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8)
- BC PavCo (999 Canada Pl #200, Vancouver, BC V6C 3C1)
Provide or Purchase Insurance Below
Option 1: Provide Your Own Certificate of Insurance
If you have your own insurance coverage for the Show, you are required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance that meets the outlined requirements no later than 30 days prior to the event, by January 8, 2027. To submit your certificate, please upload it directly for review and approval using the link below.
Please do not email your certificate, as we are unable to verify certificates sent via email. All certificates must be uploaded using the link below.

Option 2: Purchase a Temporary Certificate of Insurance for the Duration of the Show
Purchase Commercial General Liability and Property Insurance from www.exhibitorinsurance.com. This Commercial Liability insurance will have a coverage limit of $5,000,000 per occurrence and property insurance with a limit of $25,000 with a $1,000 deductible, to protect the attending public, the show organizer and yourself.
- This certificate will be temporary for the duration of the show.
- Exhibitorinsurance.com will issue a Certificate of Insurance once your application has been approved.
