BUILDEX is committed to excellence in serving all customers. We want people with disabilities to have the same opportunity to access our show and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place. Assistive Devices
Vancouver Convention Centre West Building has wheelchairs available from their customer service desk at the main entrance. You can also call +1 604-647-7305 to arrange in advance.
Service Animals
Service animals are allowed into all areas of our event that are open to the public. If it is not readily apparent that the animal is a service animal, then we may request to see a letter confirming the animal is needed for reasons relating to a disability (we do not need to know the nature of the disability).
Support Persons
BUILDEX will offer a complimentary admission pass for support person of a person with a disability. Persons with disabilities should visit the onsite registration desk to obtain their admission and receive the complimentary supports person’s pass. Additionally, this can be requested online when purchasing a ticket. Please send an email to BUILDEXshows@informa.com.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
Persons requiring accommodation in the event of an emergency evacuation should notify BUILDEX Show Staff at the beginning of the day at the Show Office located behind the BUILDEX main stage.
Notice to Temporary Disruption
In the event of planned or unplanned disruption to services or facilities for persons with disabilities, BUILDEX will promptly notify with a clearly posted notice at the point of disruption. This notice will include information about the cause of disruption, its anticipated length of time and if possible, give alternative services or facilities.
Feedback Process
The ultimate goal of BUILDEX is to meet and surpass expectations while serving customers with disabilities. Comments on our products, goods and services regarding how well those expectations are being met are welcome and appreciated.
