What additional measures are being followed at FInovateEurope 2022?
Whilst measures are starting to be relaxed by the UK government, we would like to ensure our attendees feel confident as they return to attending our event events. To provide this additional comfort, we will continue to offer some enhanced measures and you can click here to view these Commitments.
Do I need to be fully vaccinated or have a negative covid test to attend?
When you arrive at the event, you’ll need to provide proof that you’re:
- fully vaccinated against COVID-19 according to your national vaccine programme
- OR proof of a negative test taken within the 48 hours before arriving at the event.
Please bring proof with you - it will be visually verified and we will not retain any personal data. Proof can be either digital e.g. via an app, email, or official paper copy.
Please note that we, as the event organisers, won’t be carrying out tests on attendees ourselves at the event.
What happens if I cannot attend the event because I have COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive or am unable to travel due to changes in quarantine rules?
Colleagues can be sent in your place or you will receive a credit note given to use against another event.
The standard refund terms are that you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee if you cancel up to 57 days before the event.

Do I have to quarantine when coming to the UK?
People arriving from all African countries and most of the rest of the world don’t need to quarantine in the UK if they are vaccinated against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in the UK - see more details here.

Will there be any tracking of participants in the event of a positive COVID-19 test result?
The venue will have the governments track & trace system at the event spaces and in the meeting foyer and lobby, attendees are expected to scan and sign in on arrival.
Do I need to wear a mask?
The UK government’s guidelines recommend that you wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet. You should use your judgement in deciding where you should wear one.
What shall I do if I have symptoms of Covid-19?
Please do not enter the event if you have any of the signs or symptoms of Covid-19, These include, a high temperature, a new continuous cough and a change to taste or smell. In order to assist us in keeping our attendees and staff as safe as possible, further information will be sent out to registered attendees closer to the event.
