Freddie Kleiner is a director in Anthesis’s ESG advisory and mandatory reporting practice. His team focuses on advising asset managers and corporates on the ever evolving landscape of ESG.
Freddie is a go-to consultant for numerous asset managers, with a particular focus on private equity and portfolio companies. His team’s advisory work includes supporting clients developing their ESG strategies, co-creating, collecting data for and designing ESG, sustainability and impact reports, adhering to emerging sustainability regulations in the EU and beyond, conducting ESG and supplier due diligence and supporting on decarbonization plans.
Prior to joining Anthesis, Freddie was Director at Wallbrook, working across the company’s ESG and due diligence practices. In this role, Freddie advised several asset managers looking to build out their ESG strategies as well as supporting them aligning to mandatory reporting requirements, such as the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). For Wallbrook’s due diligence practice, Freddie managed ESG and integrity due diligence workstreams for development finance institutions and asset managers.
Prior to joining Wallbrook, Freddie spent five years at two other London-based ESG and integrity due diligence firms, where he gained significant experience in anti-corruption, environmental and social risk, and reputational investigations.
Freddie holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Bristol and a master’s degree in climate policy from King’s College, London.
