Ouliana Smith has specialized in financial services for more than 10 years and currently works in Omdia’s financial services team.

She started her career as an associate analyst with Datamonitor, now GlobalData, a global market intelligence provider, where she specialized in the Cards and Payments area. In her role, Ouliana developed and managed projects doubling the scope of market coverage within the business unit with interest in Europe and Asia. She also supported corporate partnerships by conducting research and interviews with industry executives, and authoring content investigating fraud and new payment technologies. Later, she worked in wealth management, overseeing key industry analysis, modelling, and bespoke content for clients.

Since joining Omdia in 2022, she has been dedicated to digital transformation and fraud solutions with a strong focus on alternative payments and sustainability, helping companies keep abreast with new business models in payments.
