The European Women Payments Network (EWPN) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to building a community for people in the fintech & payments space. EWPN strives to create more opportunities not only for women but all minorities; being a champion for a more diverse and inclusive industry for all. EWPN does this by organising local networking events, an international Annual Event & Awards ceremony, as well as through research to promote its goals.

EWPN is a registered foundation in the Netherlands, but very much pan-European in composition. It is

• governed by a diverse and multicultural Executive Board of directors and an Advisory Board;
• supported by local ambassadors (in most European countries, in some African and Middle East countries),
• upheld by specific ambassadors for key initiatives and/or programmes

all working on a voluntary basis to make diversity and inclusion a reality in the payments & FinTech industry.

A movement made of people working in fintech & payments, who are committed to making real changes in our industry. A movement made of people committed to starting and having difficult conversations that are necessary for impactful change in our industry. A movement made of leaders, innovators, change-makers, troublemakers, trailblazers, thought leaders, and impact creators. Together, we have built a community.

Our events are like no other events. We gather to share, learn, and uplift one another but also to curate and drive the change we want to see in the financial industry. We bring our full human selves to our events. We gather with a purpose. And that purpose is to build an industry that truly reflects the people it serves.
