Azizjon Azimi, founder of zypl.ai, secured $1.7 million in pre-seed funding at a $10 million valuation. Zypl.ai employs AI models to enhance financial inclusion in emerging markets. Its credit scoring software, based on machine learning, operates in six regions, approving over $15 million in microloans with a default rate below 0.7%. Prior to zypl.ai, Azizjon co-founded tajrupt, an educational nonprofit in Tajikistan, focusing on youth development. He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School as an Aga Khan International Scholar. Azizjon chairs Tajikistan's AI Council, responsible for the national AI strategy. He graduated cum laude with a BA, earning double honors in economics and international relations from New York University. Azizjon's achievements include Forbes' "30 Under 30" recognition and winning the 2018 Islamic Development Bank Transform Fund competition.
